The Rev. Stephen Fritz and the members of Wayside Presbyterian Church recently presented a check for more than $6,355 to the Hempfield Area Food Pantry. The check represented the proceeds of the Waystock Community Music and Fun Fest held on the church grounds earlier in the summer.

In addition to Fritz, those involved in the check presentation were food pantry volunteers and Wayside members Nick Doerfler and Barry Gilbert; volunteers Bob Slade, Jamie Stream and Roz Flannelly; and pantry president Dave Bleil.

Wayside Presbyterian Church is located at 600 Stony Battery Road, Landisville.
