"Christmas At The White House" Posted

The Hummelstown Area Historical Society will hold a meeting on Monday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. at the Parish House, located at the corner of Rosanna Street and North Alley in Hummelstown.

The meeting will feature the program "Christmas at the White House," which will share how Christmas has evolved over the years for each president, the first lady, and their children. Walter and Margie Cook will talk about how Christmas trees became part of the decorations and how the first ladies started selecting a theme for the season. Christmas ornaments made by the White House Historical Association will be featured throughout the program.
