The official book launch and signing for "The Apple, A Woman's Battle Plan: Overcoming Forbidden Fruit in Marriage" by Rachel D. Lyne will take place on Saturday, Sept. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at REO Manheim Marketplace, 51 N. Main St., Manheim. The event will include live music by a local artist and giveaways from Manheim-local small business owners.

"The Apple," which will be released on Thursday, Sept. 2, focuses on helping married women who may be struggling with emotional bitterness, unhealthy attachments or other forbidden fruit.
