The Downtown Hershey Association will present Choctoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, in ChocolateTown Square Park, Chocolate and Cocoa avenues, Hershey.

The event will feature food, including chocolate, and beverages available for purchase. Attendees are advised that not all vendors are able to accept credit cards. There will also be music and an array of family and children's activities.

New this year, there will be an expanded pet hospitality area. Dogs and their owners can stop by for water, treats, and other supplies while they last. All pets must be friendly/well behaved.

Choctoberfest is free and open to the public. The downtown Hershey parking garages will be open and can be accessed from Chocolate Avenue via Linden Road. A limited number of handicapped-accessible parking spaces will be available in the Caracas Avenue lot adjacent to the fire station.
