Cocalico Care Center, a ministry of St. John's United Church of Christ in Denver, will hold its 35th anniversary celebration on Saturday, Aug. 17, from noon to 4 p.m. The event will take place at 659 S. Fourth St., Denver.

The event will include games, face painting, and giveaway drawings. The Stu Huggens Band will provide live music, and attendees may visit on-site food trucks, including Boehringer's Homemade Ice Cream; Castaneda's, providing Mexican food; J.R.'s Brisket; Little Cotton Cart; and U3 Nutrition.
