Cavod will present "Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical Jr." at Cavod Theatre, 641 W. Main St., New Holland, at 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28. The musical tells the story of a girl who dreams of a better life and inspires the children around her.

This production is directed by Richard Weaver. The cast includes Violet Bartlett as Matilda Wormwood, Elise Baloche as Miss Honey, Emma Blake as Agatha Trunchbull, Josiah Henne as Mr. Wormwood, Madelyn Esh as Mrs. Wormwood, Mark Succarotte as Michael Wormwood, Isaac Baloche as the Escapologist, Aria Ticen as the Acrobat, Juden Baloche as Bruce, Charlie Walton as Lavender, Maisie Kyler as Hortensia, Jaxson Burton as Nigel, Alida Hughes as Erica, Wyatt Haines as Tommy, Eliana Stoltzfus as Amanda, Gracelyn Fulmer as Alice, Maurice Baloche as Rudolpho, and Chloe Lichtenwalner as Mrs. Phelps.
