CASA Plans Annual Breakfast

CASA of Lancaster County will hold its annual Community Awareness Breakfast event on Friday, June 4, from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Cork Factory Hotel, 480 New Holland Ave., No. 3000, Lancaster. This is a free event for anyone interested in learning more about CASA of Lancaster County and the role of its advocates.

This year's guest speaker will be foster advocate and author Ashley Rhodes-Courter. She will share her story about the CASA volunteer who changed her life.

Rhodes-Courter is a former foster youth and the author of "Three Little Words" and "Three More Words." She has fostered dozens of abused and neglected children and is an advocate for vulnerable children across the globe. Rhodes-Courter has shared her story on the TED stage and on stages throughout the country.
