Caregivers Invited To Free Seminar

"Making a Difference in the Lives of People With Dementia," a free seminar for family caregivers, will be offered on Friday, May 13, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with both in-person and online options available. The in-person event will take place at Church of the Open Door - East York Campus, 4075 E. Market St., York.

Keynote speaker Loretta Woodward Veney, an author, caregiver, and motivational speaker, will share about "The Joy of Caregiving." A panel discussion with community partners will follow the presentation. Community partners include Alzheimer's Association Greater PA, AARP PA, Bellomo & Associates, Church of the Open Door - East York Campus, Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community, Dementia Friendly York/Adams County, Encompass Health Home Health, Minnich's Pharmacy, Memorial White Rose Hospice, and York County Area Agency on Aging.
