A picnic will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28, at 4:30 p.m. for community members who have had or currently have cancer of any form. This free event will be held in the picnic pavilion at the West Nantmeal Recreation Area located on Route 82 in Elverson.

The event will be hosted by the community cancer support group that meets monthly at the Conestoga Mennonite Church in Morgantown.
