Brubaker to speak about Gibbons family

Grave Concern will hold a quarterly meeting with a program on Wednesday, March 22, at 7 p.m. The meeting will take place at Mennonite Life, 2215 Millstream Road, Lancaster, formerly the Lancaster County Mennonite Historical Society.

Jack Brubaker, author of the Scribbler column in LNP, will address members of Grave Concern on the subject of Lancaster County's Gibbons family. Three generations of the Quaker family operated an Underground Railroad station near Bird-in-Hand before the Civil War. Brubaker is a retired investigative reporter who has written seven books and has spoken to nearly 200 groups in central Pennsylvania.

The meeting is open to the public. Grave Concern is an organization dedicated to the history, preservation, and restoration of historical burial places.
