Beekeeper to Speak

St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 700 Pleasure Road, Lancaster, will host "Tales From the Beeyard" on Tuesday, May 5, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Lori Stahl will share her personal beekeeping journey while offering insights into the world of honeybees.

Stahl felt called to beekeeping in the late 1990s, never imagining the journey she was beginning. Now she maintains several apiaries throughout Lancaster County and southeastern York County, and through her company, BeeBee's All Naturals, she rescues swarms and removes and rehomes honeybee colonies.

Stahl earned her Cornell University Master Beekeeper certification in 2019. She serves on the Pennsylvania Honeybee Advisory Board and has represented the Pennsylvania State Beekeepers Association on the Pennsylvania State Council of Farm Organizations (PSCFO). She has also chaired the Pennsylvania State Beekeepers Association's legislative committee and served as treasurer of the Lancaster County Beekeepers Society. Through her work, Stahl is committed to educating both the public and fellow beekeepers on ways to support and protect honeybees.

This event is free of charge. It is part of the church's Conversation Around the Corner speaker series, which aims to bring the community together through meaningful dialogue, shared learning, and diverse perspectives.
