Douglas Seaman, a local man with kidney disease, is seeking a kidney donor. Seaman is a 59-year resident of East Hanover Township in Dauphin County.

Due to the number of people on the transplant list, at this time, it may take five or more years to obtain a kidney for transplant, noted Seaman. He added that healthy adults may donate one of their kidneys and still have a long life.
