Columbia Animal Shelter, 265 S. 10th St., Columbia, will host Step-Rite Line Dancing with Brittanie on Friday, Jan. 5, from 7 to 11 p.m. The event will take place at the shelter's warehouse, located across the street from the shelter. There is an admission fee, and light refreshments will be available to purchase. Line dancing will be offered once a month on either a Friday or Saturday.

The shelter will host a concert by Clifton Bryan with Bob Noble on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. There is a suggested donation per person, and food and drinks will be available to purchase. Concerts will be held on the second Saturday of every month from January through November taking place at the shelter. May through September concerts will be held outdoors or in the warehouse in the case of inclement weather.
