Alzheimer's Caregivers Support Group To Meet

Being a caregiver to a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or dementia can leave caregivers with more questions than answers regarding their care. Senior Commons at Powder Mill, 1775 Powder Mill Road, York, can help caregivers find those answers through its free caregivers support group meeting on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m.

The hustle and bustle of the holiday season, in addition to caregiver duties, can leave caregivers feeling overwhelmed and stressed out and experiencing a whirlwind of emotions. At the upcoming meeting, a representative from Kindred Hospice will give a presentation on "Holiday Stress and Grief," with tips for finding joy through difficult moments.

All attendees must register by Wednesday, Oct. 19; call 717-741-0961 or email mpoole@powdermill.com to register. For more information on Senior Commons at Powder Mill, visit http://www.powdermill.com.
