Moores Memorial Library, 9 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana, has announced its upcoming programs.

The library will take part in Longwood Gardens' 2022 Community Read. This year's book selections are "The Songs of Trees: Stories From Nature's Great Connectors" by David Haskell, the picture book "We Planted a Tree" by Diane Muldrow, and the graphic novel "Canopy Career Chronicles" by the team at the Morton Arboretum. All of these books are available in the Moores collection. A community conversation will take place in April.

A Spring Preschool Story Time focused on trees will take place in person each Wednesday beginning at 10:30 a.m. Young readers will ponder the question "What can we learn from trees?" Registration is not required.

The Library Bunny will visit on Tuesdays, Feb. 8 and 22, from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Children are invited to read to the bunny.

Knit and Natter, a knitting and crocheting group, will meet in person on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. The next gathering will occur on Feb. 8 at 1:30 p.m.
