Lincoln Highway East Program Set

The Lititz Historical Foundation will host a special program at the Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Road, Lititz, on Saturday, Jan. 8, at 1:30 p.m. Area historian Benton Webber will present "Lancaster County's Historic Lincoln Highway."

The Lincoln Highway, also known as U.S. Route 30, spans 13 states and is one of the oldest transcontinental routes in the country. Webber will discuss Lancaster's place along this roadway, as well as talk about a special project he has been involved in regarding the Lincoln Highway markers.

This program is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Masks are required, and the program is limited to 50 persons.

Registration will open on Monday, Dec. 27, at 9 a.m. To reserve a seat, contact the Lititz Public Library at 717-626-2255.
