The library will be closed on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 24 and 25.

Ongoing programs will include Morning Yoga every Monday at 9 a.m. for adults and teens, with no yoga on Dec. 13; Astronomy Enthusiasts of Lancaster County on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m.; and Painting Club at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8.

Film and Fun Fest, featuring a writing station and a showing of "The Shop Around the Corner," will take place on Friday, Dec. 3, at 1:30 p.m.

Santa Visits the Backyard! will take place on Saturdays, Dec. 11 and 18, at 10, 10:30, and 11 a.m. Santa will visit story time in the library's backyard. Children are invited to bring a letter for Santa with their name and address so Santa can send them a special reply. Take-and-make craft kits will also be available.

A model train display will be set up from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 11; 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, Dec. 14 and 16; 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 18.

A Holiday 2021 StoryWalk will be available at the library. The self-directed activity encourages people of all ages to read a children's picture book in stages while walking along a short path and completing a simple activity for each page. The holiday picture book is "Santa's Story" by Will Hillenbrand.

A four-week session of indoor story times has been set for Monday, Jan. 31, to Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022. The program will feature small class sizes, with social distancing observed and masks required.
