The HARTZ Physical Therapy Fall Blast 5K and children's fun run will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3, at J.R. Bonfield Elementary School, 101 N. Oak St., Lititz.

The 5K will start at 9 a.m. During the kids' run, participants will be doused in color. The event will also include breakfast, race swag, cash prizes, and awards for race winners in various age brackets.

Fees have been set for the 5K and kids' run, with a discount available to teams of five or more people who register for the 5K through Sunday, Sept. 20. All event proceeds will benefit SWAN: Scaling Walls A Note at a Time, which provides free music education, mentoring, and support to children affected by parental incarceration.
