The Lancaster County Art Association, 149 Precision Ave., Strasburg, has announced its fall schedule of art classes.

New this season is a Beginner Hand Building clay class with Rachel Parisan, which will meet on Mondays, Sept. 14 to Oct. 12. Participants may choose to attend from 1 to 4 p.m. or 5 to 8 p.m. Students will explore different ways to hand-build clay projects such as pinch pots and coil building.

Also new is a Kids Art Club for children ages 7 to 14 led by Andrew Parisan. This class will meet on Saturdays, Oct. 24 to Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Classes will also include Passion for Pastels, taught by Dot Stepenaski, on Thursdays, Sept. 17 to Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Tony Bonazzi will teach two classes on Thursdays, Oct. 15 to Nov. 19. Basic Drawing will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m., and Intermediate Watercolor will take place from 7 to 9 p.m.

Carol Herr will offer Landscape Painting - Autumn on Saturdays, Oct. 17 to Nov. 21, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Information relevant to both oil and acrylic paints will be shared.

The Power of White, led by Karen Frattali, is slated for Saturdays, Sept. 19 and 26, at 9:30 a.m. This watercolor class will emphasize the use of the white paper to create eye-catching paintings.
