Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. (JBT) recently hired Philip Courtney as chief risk officer.

In this role, Courtney will identify, understand, and manage risk across the organization while supporting responsible growth. He will oversee the bank's enterprise risk management and compliance functions and work closely with leadership and team members throughout the organization to protect JBT clients and communities.

A graduate of Kutztown University and the Barret Graduate School of Banking, Courtney has more than 16 years of banking experience. He is also a certified community bank compliance officer and a certified anti-money laundering specialist.
