Library Sets Programs

The Village Library of Morgantown, 207 N. Walnut St., has posted its upcoming programs. Additional information is available by calling 610-286-1022 or emailing smolibrary@gmail.com.

Weekly activities include Puzzles and Pals on Tuesdays from 1 to 2 p.m., for people of all ages; pinochle on Wednesdays from noon to 5 p.m., for seniors; tai chi on Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m., for adults; and a Summer Movie Matinee on Friday, Aug. 14, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with the film to be "Despicable Me 2."

Three story times are planned. On Thursday, Aug. 13, from 10 to 11 a.m., the topic will be bees, and on Wednesday, Aug. 19, and Thursday, Aug. 20, from 10 to 11 a.m., the topic will be watermelon seeds. There will be no story time on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

The Common Ground Ladies Book Study will meet on Monday, Aug. 17, from 11 to 12:30 p.m. to discuss "Am I Messing Up My Kids?" by Lysa TerKeurst. Copies are available to borrow from the library, and people do not need to be caught up on the reading to attend the gathering. They may bring their children and a lunch.
