Lititz Public Library Posts Programs

Members of the Blanketeers will gather to create blankets of various kinds for Project Linus on Tuesdays, June 2 and 16, at 2 p.m.

Grief Stories will be held on Monday, June 1, at 6:30 p.m.

The library will offer several ongoing programs. These activities include Knitting Club, for knitters and crocheters, on Mondays, June 1 and 15, at 10 a.m. and Tuesdays, June 9 and 30, at 6 p.m.; Baked Books Club on June 9 at 2 p.m.; Lititz Game Club, for players age 10 and older, on Wednesdays, June 3 and 17, at 4:30 p.m.; Astronomy Enthusiasts of Lancaster County on June 3 at 6 p.m.; Painting Club on Wednesdays, June 10 and 24, at 12:30 p.m.; Lego Club, for children ages 6 to 10, on Saturday, June 20, from 10 to 11 a.m.; Great Decisions Discussion Group on June 10 at 6:30 p.m.; Writing Club on June 15 at 1 p.m.; Red Rose Quilters Guild of Lancaster Embroidery Mini Group on June 24 at 1:30 p.m.; Accessible Yoga with Black Cat Yoga on June 2 at 6:30 p.m. and Friday, June 26, at 10 a.m.; and Sewcial Sewing Club on June 24 at 6 p.m.

The featured book for the Summer StoryWalk is "Tiny T. Rex and the Impossible Hug" by Jonathan Stutzman.

During the Paws to Read program, children may read stories to trained therapy dogs. The program will be offered on Thursday, June 11, at 6 p.m. and Thursday, June 25, at 10 a.m.

A Mini Cupcake Baking Contest will take place on June 11 at 6 p.m. Competitors will bring in six dozen of one type of mini cupcake along with copies of the recipe, and bakers and tasters will try the cupcakes and vote for their favorite.

A concert by Jamie O'Brien, featuring musicians playing the fiddle, mandolin, and guitar, will be held on Thursday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m.

A family concert by Bravura Brass will take place on June 25 at 6:30 p.m.

Books, Naturally: A Nature Lover's Book Club will meet on June 30 at 2 p.m. Attendees should check the library calendar for the book list.

Dinosaur Playtime, for children ages 1 to 2 with a caregiver, will be held on June 2 and 18 at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30 a.m.

The Summer Reading Kick-off, for people of all ages, will take place on Saturday, June 6, at 10 a.m.

Block Play, for children age 3 and older, will be offered on Monday, June 8, at 10 a.m.

Book Buddies, for children age 3 and older, will meet on Tuesdays, June 9 to July 14, at 10 a.m.

A Music for Everyone Drum Circle, for children ages 5 to 12, will take place on June 10 at 10 a.m.

Snap Circuits Exploration, for children ages 8 to 12, will be held on Friday, June 12, at 1 p.m.

Flag Day Storytime, for children age 3 and older, will take place on June 15 at 10 a.m.

Wacky Wednesday will be held on June 17 at 1 p.m.

A Master Gardener Pollinator Program, for children age 3 and older, will take place on Friday, June 19, at 10 a.m.

A Children's American Sign Language Class, for children ages 8 to 12, will be offered on Mondays, June 22 to July 13, from 10 to 11 a.m.

A Dino Dig with field paleontologists Mike and Roberta Straka will take place on June 22 at 1:30 p.m. for children age 6 and older.

Introduction to Dungeons and Dragons will be offered for teenagers on Tuesday, June 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. Beginners and experience players are welcome.

Doc Yoder's Math Magic, for youths age 8 and older, will take place on June 24 at 10 a.m.
