Holly Grube, a member of the Lebanon Valley College softball team, was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Player of the Week for the week ending April 5. Grube is a resident of New Providence.

Grube slashed .643/.600/1.357 with nine hits and six runs scored in a perfect 4-0 week. The sophomore also earned two wins in the pitching circle, tallying four strikeouts in two starts. Grube helped lead LVC to the 2-1 win over Stevens on April 3, recording two hits with a solo home run and pitching a two-hitter with three strikeouts, without allowing an earned run in seven innings.

Grube, a graduate of Solanco High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
