4-H horse club plans meeting

The Penn State Extension Lancaster 4-H Saddle Cinches club will hold an in-person, reorganizational meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 6:45 p.m. at Meadowind Farm, 1945 Shumaker Road, Manheim.

This meeting is intended for prospective new members and returning members ages 8 to 18 as of Jan. 1. Parents of first-time members are encouraged to attend.

Owning a horse is not required to be a member. 4-H horse clubs provide educational opportunities but do not provide horses or riding lessons. Children ages 5 to 7 as of Jan. 1 will follow a Cloverbud curriculum.
