Join Forager & Photographer Sarah LeTourneau for an afternoon of mycological meanderings around the Horn Farm!

This guided mushroom walk will explore the fields and forests of the Horn Farm in search of spring fungi. Along the way, you'll learn some basics of mycology, tips for identifying wild mushrooms and potential mushroom habitat, and common edible and medicinal species in the Lower Susquehanna Riverlands.

Weather and other factors will influence what we find, but Sarah will accompany the walk with samples, ID tools, stories, and more. Whether you're a curious beginner or a budding fungi enthusiast, this class will deepen your appreciation for the hidden world of mushrooms and their roles in both nature and our lives.
