Heritage & Horizons Adult Education Program

Heritage & Horizons kicks off its Fall 2022 adult enrichment program on Tuesday mornings for four weeks beginning October 4 in the Sanctuary of Church of the Apostles UCC, 1850 Marietta Ave., Lancaster. There are two speakers each day, 9:30 am and 10:50 am, with refreshments served in between. Topics are: “A Postcard History of Old Mount Gretna”; “Conversations on Theology” (Oct 4), “Growing Houseplants in Low, Medium, and High Light”; “How Do We Treat Strangers: A Border Experience” (Oct 11), “Plain Dress on the Docket: PA’s Garb Law” (Oct 18), “Lancaster Farmland Trust: Protecting and Stewarding Our Farmland for the Future of Lancaster County”; “How a Miser in a Nightshirt Changed the World View Regarding Child Labor Laws and Taught Us How to Celebrate Christmas” (Oct 25). Registration for the 4-week series is $20 or $7 per day if only attending one or two days. Fully accessible, off-street parking. All are welcome.
