Landon Sexton of Marietta, a member of the Lebanon Valley College baseball team, was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 15.

Sexton struck out a career-high nine batters over six shutout innings for Lebanon Valley's baseball team in a 15-0 win over King's College in the second matchup of a doubleheader on March 14. The sophomore allowed just two hits and faced only three batters over the minimum in the victory.

Sexton, a graduate of Donegal High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in economics.
