GEARS will offer beginner pickleball lessons on Saturdays, May 9 and 16, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Lloyd H. Fuhrman Memorial Park pickleball courts, 190 Rock Point Road, Marietta. Pam Kaylor will teach basic techniques, rules, and strategies. All equipment will be provided. The program is for people age 16 and up.

A Mom & Kids Mini Golf Par-Tee will take place on Sunday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Adventure Sports in Hershey, 3010 Elizabethtown Road, Hershey. Moms are invited to bring their children and enjoy some quality time together. The event will include one round of private mini golf play one hour before the course opens, as well as one hour of game play in the arcade. Snacks and drinks will be served. Children may also attend with their grandma or aunt. The registration deadline is Monday, May 11.

In addition, GEARS has opened registration for its summer programs. Available from June through August, programs will include summer camps, youth activities, fitness classes, bus trips, and continuing education classes. Registration is available via the aforementioned website or phone number.
