Students of the Month Honored

Elizabethtown Area High School recently recognized Josephine "Josie" Sirinides and Drew Robb as the Rotary Club Students of the Month for March. This honor celebrates students who exemplify excellence in academics, leadership, service, and involvement within the school and greater community.

Josie is the daughter of Philip and Emily Sirinides of Elizabethtown. She is involved in her school's theater department and has been cast in every play and musical during her high school career. During her senior year, she held one of the leading roles, performing as Anna in "Frozen." Josie plays the clarinet in marching band and the oboe in concert band and orchestra, and she sings in chorus and show choir. This year she is also serving as a music department intern, assisting Mr. Fortier with the middle school chorus. Josie's musical accomplishments include selection for the PMEA District 7 Chorus, PMEA Region 5 Chorus, and LLMEA County Chorus. Josie served as student musical director and choreographer for several middle school productions and held leadership roles within the choir and band programs. She served as clarinet section leader and now serves as vice president of the band, and she helps to organize rehearsals and events as a choir officer. In addition to her involvement in the performing arts, Josie has participated in Model United Nations, and she received the Academic Excellence Award in Honors Calculus.

Outside of school, Josie is active in local theater with Servant Stage and Susquehanna Stage. In 2025, she received the Rising Star Scholarship from Servant Stage in recognition of her dedication to the performing arts. Josie mentors younger performers by working as a theater camp counselor and volunteering as a student director. She attends Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church, where she sings and volunteers with children. Following graduation, Josie plans to pursue a degree in the performing arts, with a particular interest in directing.

Drew is the son of Stephen and Kelli Robb of Elizabethtown. He serves as co-president of the Stream Team Club and president of the tabletop club. He is also a member of Model United Nations and participated in the Atollo Program. Drew performed in the past two fall plays, "Arsenic and Old Lace" and "Puffs." He has helped support school events such as freshman orientation and parent night, and he has earned honor roll recognition multiple times. Following graduation, Drew plans to attend Millersville University to major in media arts production with the goal of becoming a film director.
