Garden Spot Village plans program series

In January, Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, will host weekly presentations that explore the topic of the Earth's origins, focusing on science, religion, and history. Sessions will take place in the chapel on Mondays from 7 to 8 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Members of the public are welcome to attend. Registration is not required.

On Jan. 8, the program will run from 7 to 9 p.m., and it will be a screening of the two-hour documentary "Is Genesis History?" featuring Del Tackett. On Jan. 15, Randy Gehman, a science teacher at Dayspring Christian Academy, will present "Doesn't Science Disprove Christianity?" "In the Beginning ... We Misunderstood" by John Soden will be the program on Jan. 22. Val Dunham, an author and Garden Spot Village resident, will present "Is Galileo Still on House Arrest?" on Jan. 29.
