In ceremonies held in early May by the University of North Georgia, Dahlonega, Ga., 77 graduating cadets were awarded commissions as second lieutenants. Connor Hamilton was among these graduates.

Hamilton is a resident of Strasburg. He earned a degree in strategic and security studies and was commissioned in the Army, where he will work in military intelligence.
