Humane Society Receives Donation

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Central PA Chapter presented a check from $600 to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area on April 4. The check represented a portion of the proceeds from SMPS Central PA's Feb. 17 virtual program, "Selling in Today's Environment: Upping the BAT-ing Average," and a partial donation from the Central PA Chapter.

Deb Ellenberg, vice president of business development with Sandler Training, Lancaster, presented during this virtual program, addressing the challenges of selling in today's environment and how people can redefine their behaviors, attitude and techniques (BAT) that set us up for success in the "game" of sales. Passionate about animal welfare, Ellenberg had requested that a portion of the proceeds benefit the local Humane Society.

The mission of the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area Inc. is to build a better community for pets and people through compassion, protection, education, and collaboration. To learn more, visit https://humanesocietyhbg.org/.
