The Lancaster Bonsai Society will present "Bonsai 101" on Saturday, March 5, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Cottage Classroom of Stauffers of Kissel Hill Home & Garden Store, 301 Rohrerstown Road, Lancaster.

Ryan Wagner, a club veteran and an associate professor of plant physiology and botany at Millersville University, will share an introduction to the art of bonsai, tips for growing and caring for bonsai trees and a demonstration of how to create one's own bonsai from common nursery plants. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation
