Programs Planned At Zimmerman Center

Susquehanna National Heritage Area (SNHA) will offer programs at the Zimmerman Center for Heritage, 1706 Long Level Road, Wrightsville. There is a fee per person.

The Zimmerman Center will offer a preview of the new Susquehannock Gallery during Susquehannock Winters on Sundays, Feb. 13 and 27, from 1 to 3 p.m. During a presentation in the new gallery and a guided hike through Native Lands County Park, Zimmerman Center director Paul Nevin will share what life was like for the Susquehannocks in the wintertime. SNHA is offering DIY National Park Service Junior Ranger Explorer Packs geared for children ages 5 to 13. The packs include hands-on activities and virtual interactives. Supplies are limited, and pickup will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 15. To reserve a pack, visit the aforementioned website.
