Middletown Area Recreation Alliance (MARA) will hold its Sweetheart Dances on Saturday, Feb. 5, in the cafeteria at Middletown Area High School, 1155 N. Union St. The Mother-Son Dance will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m., followed by the Daddy-Daughter Dance from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The event will feature a professional DJ. Attendees may enjoy snacks, drinks and a full dessert bar; sugar-free and gluten-free options will be available.

There is a registration fee per couple, with a discount for residents. There is also a discounted fee for each additional child. Preregistration is required.
