CMN Slates Teddy Bear Toss

Children's Miracle Network (CMN) at Penn State Children's Hospital has announced that the Hershey Bears' GIANT Teddy Bear Toss Night will return in-person on Saturday, Jan. 22, during the Bears' game against the Hartford Wolf Pack. The game will start at 7 p.m. at the GIANT Center, 550 W. Hersheypark Drive, Hershey. All fans are encouraged to bring new, stuffed items to toss onto the ice as the Bears score their first goal. All items collected will be donated to local charities.

As in past years, Hershey Bears season ticket holder and CMN supporter Jeff Sweigart will donate $1 for every teddy bear tossed onto the ice for Children's Miracle Network Hershey. Sweigart has donated over $175,000 to CMN's cause since 2015, with the largest donation being $45,650 in 2019.

Volunteers are needed to help sort and count the animals received at the event. Volunteers will receive a parking voucher and refreshments while working. Volunteers must be age 14 or older, be fully vaccinated and have an appropriate facemask. They must arrive at 6 p.m. and stay until all items are counted.
