Women of all ages and preschool children are invited to attend Neighbors Sharing and Caring, a women's ministry of the Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, Jan. 18, from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Local Christian living author Rachel D. Lyne (Rachel Gehman) will speak on "Being the Bride Despite the Times." She will examine what it means to be the bride of Christ and how the church can thrive amidst daily opposition in an ever-changing culture.

Lyne resides in Elizabethtown with her husband and their two children, whom she homeschools. The family attends Manheim Grace Brethren Church, where Lyne has been the secretary for the last 14 years. She and her husband are youth leaders and members of the worship team.
