Christmas Eve at Petra will take place on Friday, Dec. 24, at Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland. The event will be presented twice, at 5 and 7 p.m.

The program will feature the Christmas story told through Scripture and videos, special music, the singing of Christmas carols, and fun for kids. The event is open to people of all ages, and no child care will be offered.

The community is also invited to a Christmas service on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 9 and 11 a.m. Lead pastor Brian Coles will present the final message in Petra's "Joy to the World" Advent series.
