College Plans Concert, Open House

Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School has planned a concert and an open house.

The concert will take place on Sunday, Nov. 14, at 3 p.m. in the Good Shepherd Chapel on LBC's Lancaster campus, 901 Eden Road. The LBC orchestra, consisting of students and professional mentors, will perform Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 8, the second movement of which features a unique ensemble of three violas, cello and bass, as well as Sibelius' "Romance in C Major for Strings." The LBC Orchestra is conducted by Peter Kenote, violist with the New York Philharmonic and LBC | Capital Adjunct professor. Additionally, the student percussion ensemble, under the direction of adjunct professor Brent Behrenshausen, will perform "Flamenco" and "How Great Thou Art" arranged for mallet percussion. Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School will hold its second fall open house for prospective traditional undergraduate students and their families on Friday, Nov. 19. The in-person event will take place from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include tours of the Lancaster campus, interactions with faculty and current students, lunch in Olewine Dining Commons and visits to classrooms and athletics facilities.
