The Southern End Community Association (SECA) has scheduled two events.

The Quarryville Skate Jam will be held at SECA's skate park, 299 Park Ave., Quarryville, on Saturday, Aug. 28, at noon. The event has been organized by a community member to raise funds for improvement of the skate park. The event will include skating, contests, performances, food, and fun. Separate fees have been set for skating only, for food only, and for skating and food. Questions can be emailed to sk8wagon@gmail.com.

SECA's 31st annual Golf Outing will take place on Friday, Sept. 3, at Tanglewood Manor Golf Club, 653 Scotland Road, Quarryville. The cost includes the green fees, golf, lunch, and chances to win prizes. Proceeds will benefit SECA. Sponsorships are available. For more details, visit http://www.secarec.org.

Soccer Shots will be offered on Mondays from Sept. 13 to Nov. 1. The weekly 30-minute sessions will focus on soccer skills, character development, and fun. Children ages 2 to 3 may participate at 5 p.m., and those ages 3 to 5 will meet at 5:40 p.m. To enroll, visit http://www.soccershots.com/LLB.
