Old Town Night Posted

Wrightsville's annual Old Town Night will be held on Friday, April 16, at Wrightsville Hope United Methodist Church, located on the corner of Fourth and Hellam streets. Refreshments will be available at 6:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 7 p.m. COVID guidelines will be followed.

Historic Wrightsville's co-historian Lisa Burk, along with Jeremy Young, will present highlights from the diaries of Jacob Levergood, grandfather of Louise Levergood, a first-grade teacher at Wrightsville Elementary. Jacob's diaries include records of local events, gossip, tragedies, celebrations, and trivia in the late 19th century.

Old Town Night is planned by Historic Wrightsville. Admission is free, and no reservations are necessary.
