Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society will host a Mini Bookworm Frolic on Thursday and Friday, April 15 and 16, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Customers must observe social distancing and wear a mask.
Books will be available for purchase both inside the building and outside under a tent. Books will be sorted into categories such as history, biography, children's, fiction, religious, Christian fiction, and more.
Separate fees have been set for hardback books and for paperback books. On April 17, the books will be half-price, or customers can fill a box for a set fee. Credit cards, cash, or checks will be accepted as payment.
Proceeds will benefit the historical society's nonprofit educational mission. The organization's vision is diverse communities connecting across boundaries by knowing and valuing their own and others' stories of life, faith, cultures, and histories.
