GOAL Project Slates Program

GOAL Project will launch a 12-month "Restoring Families of Addiction" series with a program titled "Myths of Addiction" on Wednesday, March 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. via Zoom. The bilingual program will include Spanish translation from Celso Mesias, prevention specialist.

Presenter Joel Jakubowski, men's program director at the Potter's House addiction recovery program in Lancaster County, will explain why families' efforts to help loved ones who have an addiction often backfire, as well as how family members can better communicate and support one another.

For more information and the Zoom link, readers may email mail@goalproject.org or call 717-824-3310.

The "Restoring Families of Addiction" series will continue with a two-hour workshop on the second Wednesday of each month. It is part of GOAL Project's F.A.I.T.H. Initiatives program.
