Online Quilt Auction Planned

The Pennsylvania Relief Sale is holding an online silent auction of quilts through Saturday, Feb. 20, to benefit Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).

The online event, "Winter Quilts. World Relief.," will feature 100 quilts chosen from the organization's supply of quilts that were intended for the 2020 Pennsylvania Relief Sale in-person event. The event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bids may be placed through Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. at http://www.charityauction.bid/winterquilts. Detailed photos of each quilt may be viewed at the aforementioned website. Registration is not required to view the online quilt catalog, but it is required to bid and purchase. Options for shipping and pickup are listed on the previously mentioned website. Questions may be directed to info@pareliefsale.org or 267-733-7589.

Additionally, the Pennsylvania Relief Sale will be held virtually on Saturday, April 10. The in-person event originally scheduled for Friday, April 9, and April 10 has been changed to a virtual event on April 10. The event will feature both live and silent online auctions, featuring quilts and other items, as well as online children's activities including My Coins Count.
