The New Holland Band will hold its third annual Veterans Day concert on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. to honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The event will be held in the chapel at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland. Once on campus, attendees should follow the signs to the chapel.

Programmed to reflect the experiences of military personnel, the concert will include pop tunes that have been performed by military bands through the decades, along with patriotic and classical works. Selections will include "All Shook Up," "Blue Hawaii," and "As Time Goes By," as well as Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings," which was featured in the film "Platoon." The concert will conclude with the "United States Armed Forces Service Song Medley," and veterans will be invited to stand and be recognized as their branch's song is played.
