The Southern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce will host its third annual conference on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at DoubleTree Resort Lancaster, 2400 Willow Street Pike, Lancaster. Designed for small business owners, nonprofits, and business professionals, the event will offer workshops, expert roundtables, and time for networking.

Attendees will choose three of five workshops, each of which will be an hour long and led by a local expert on the subject. Topics will include marketing, leadership skills, scaling an organization, pricing for profit, and performance management.

Open to Chamber members and community members, the event aims to provide actionable takeaways for attendees. The day will start with coffee and pastries from Joe on the Go Coffee Co. - with one of each included with registration - as well as networking and a kickoff presentation. Led by KJ Myers and Jordan Tyson of Next Generation of Lancaster, the kickoff will cover building genuine relationships, embracing collaboration, and more.

Attendees will then attend their first two workshops, followed by approximately 45 minutes for networking. After that, they will head into the final workshop of the day. The conference will feature the following speakers: Eric Hoke, Karl Diffenderfer, Ryan Berardi, Jocelyn Engle, and Rocky Lalvani.

A lunch buffet is included with registration and will be served from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. Following lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with the speakers during informal roundtable discussions. Attendees are encouraged to connect with any of the speakers, regardless of which workshops they selected.

The roundtables will also feature two local professionals with experience in AI best practices and implementation: Philip D. Mann and Ken Richard. This portion will provide attendees an opportunity to ask questions, discuss real-world applications, and learn how businesses are incorporating AI into their work. The event will conclude at 2 p.m.
