Gently used books and media can be donated to the self-service shed behind the library from Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The library's board will meet on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 6:30 p.m.

Programs for children and families will include Wiggle & Giggle Story Time, Mondays, Sept. 14 and 28, at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. for children ages 6 months through 2 years; Preschool Pals on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 10:30 a.m. for children ages 3 to 6; and Family Story Times on Wednesdays, Sept. 16, 23, and 30, at 10:30 a.m. and on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 10:30 a.m.

The library will hold Reading With Sasha, a program that offers kids the opportunity to read to a therapy dog from Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services (KPETS). Fifteen-minute sessions are available every Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.

A Pajama Party featuring karaoke will take place on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. Attendees may sing along to kid-friendly songs or cheer on the performers.

In anticipation of National Grandparents Day, Saturday With Grandma and Grandpa will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. Kids and their grandparents may enjoy stories, songs, and crafts.

Plot Twist, for kids age 6 and up, will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 2:30 p.m. This month's theme will be "Choose Your Own Adventure."

Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to join in Parachute Play on Monday, Sept. 21, at 10:30 a.m.

Teen Art will be held on Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. The library will provide all materials needed to make a diamond art creation.

Kids age 6 and up may attend Art Explorers on Sept. 22 at 2:30 p.m. to learn about Wassily Kandinsky.

Reading the World, for children age 6 and up, will be held on Sept. 24 at 1:30 p.m. The program will include stories or folklore and a craft, all related to Sydney, Australia.

Teen Cold Case will offer people ages 12 to 19 the opportunity to examine evidence, solve puzzles, decipher hidden messages, and piece together the story behind an unsolved case. The program is slated for Sept. 24 at 6 p.m.

Teen D&D will not meet in September, but it will resume in October. Those interested in joining should contact Alyssa Mackey at amackey@mslibrary.org.

The Lost Treasure of Captain Starbeard, for kids age 6 and up, will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. Kids will examine clues, crack secret codes, complete challenges, and work together to uncover a hidden treasure.

Activities for adults will include Closely Knit, a program for knitters and crocheters, on Mondays, Sept. 14 and 28, at 1 p.m., with no registration necessary; Adult Game Night, Wednesdays, Sept. 2 and 16, at 5 p.m.; Adult Book Bingo, Sept. 16, at 2 p.m.; Easy Writer Club on Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m., with no registration required; Joyful Stitchers Cross-Stitch Club, Saturday, Sept. 19, at 9:15 a.m.; and Book Discussion Group - Lit Lovers, Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m., with the topic of "The Great Divide" by Cristina Henriquez.

Master quilter Ann Holte will lead a Quilt Study on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 12:30 p.m.

The Friends of the Library will have their monthly meeting on Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m.
