A community picnic and concert will take place on Sunday, Aug. 23, in Mountville Borough Park, 351 N. Lemon St., Mountville. The event will be held at the Lions Club pavilion.

The picnic will start at 4:30 p.m., and the Bainbridge Band will present patriotic music beginning at 6 p.m. The band will be conducted by Phil Smith. Attendees should bring lawn chairs for the concert.
