Fairmount will host a concert by Tru-Vintage Gospel Bluegrass on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 6:30 p.m. The outdoor event will be held on the Farm Crest campus, located on the east side of Fairmount's grounds at 1100 Farm Crest Drive, Ephrata. Attendees are advised to bring lawn chairs.

In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be rescheduled for Thursday, Aug. 20. If weather conditions persist, the performance will be moved indoors to the Farm Crest Community Room. Event details are subject to change; visit http://www.fairmounthomes.org for updates.

In addition, Fairmount invites residents and members of the community to attend an informational event hosted by ClearCaptions on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m. in the Crest View Gathering Room.

Local ClearCaptions Title IV American With Disabilities Act (ADA) specialist Kathleen Cesario will explain how individuals with hearing loss may qualify to receive a captioned telephone and captioning service. The session is designed to help participants better understand available communication resources that may make staying connected with family, friends, and health care providers easier. The presentation will feature trivia, snacks, and prizes.
