PANO Plans Webinar

The Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) will offer a live webinar, "Fundraising With Confidence: Navigating PA's Charitable Gaming Laws," on Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Retired State Police Capt. Jamie Jones will speak about the key aspects of Pennsylvania's law regulating small games of chance, including what qualifies as a small game of chance under the law; licensing and permit requirements; payout limits, prize restrictions, and reporting obligations; the differences between bingo and small games of chance; what is and is not allowed in online fundraising; common mistakes and how to avoid them; legislative updates and new trends; and best practices for record-keeping and audit preparation. The program will include a question-and-answer time.
